How to replace the Windshield Washer Pump on 2006 Cadillac CTS?

Start the replacement by taking off the lower air deflector and emptying washer solvent into a suitable receptacle. Disconnect both washer hose and electrical connection taking them off the washer pump before removing the washer pump from the solvent tank. Apply washer solvent to the washer pump intake nozzle before pushing it into the washer container and fastening the washer pump properly. Plug in both electrical parts and the washer hose to the washer pump before putting back the lower air deflector. Open the hood to fill the washer solvent tank with fresh supply. Test the pump operation then shut the hood.
