How to replace the headlamp washer pump on 2007 Cadillac CTS?

Both the lower air deflector removal and washer solvent container draining need to occur before starting to replace the headlamp washer pump. Disconnect the washer hose then remove the electrical connector which serves the washer pump. You should grip the washer pump from its top while using a flat-bladed tool to remove it from the washer solvent container before pulling out the washer pump. You need to discard the grommet which belongs to the washer pump. To install the new washer pump grommet insert it into the washer solvent container followed by water lubrication of the washer pump intake nozzle. Snugly attach the washer pump nozzle into the washer solvent container. Install the lower air deflector while you reconnect both the electrical connector and washer hose to the washer pump. After erecting the hood take refilling steps for the washer solvent container then put away the hood.
