The replacement of the bank 1 (Right Side) exhaust Camshaft Position Sensor starts with turning off the ignition. The replacement of the Engine Control Module (ECM) from both its bracket position and the redundant ground wire should never take place. Reposition the ecm bracket by first removing its bolts before taking the necessary steps toward access. First disconnect the cmp sensor electrical connector before you remove the sensor bolt and the cmp sensor from its location. The installation process begins when you put the cmp sensor in position based on the fastener notice procedures. The cmp sensor installation requires you to fasten it with its provided bolt at 10 n.m (89-lb in.) torque followed by reconnecting the electrical connector. The last step includes reinstalling the ecm bracket while reinserting the ecm.
