How to replace the Neutral Safety Switch on 2007 Cadillac CTS?

Raise and support vehicle, detach shift linkage, exhaust and front propeller shaft, then secure shaft. Replace seal or cup plug if leaking. With pan and filter off, disconnect switch wiring, remove retaining pin, detent spring and bolts, support and lower transmission, withdraw shaft assembly. Reinstall components in reverse order, reconnect, adjust linkage, reset TAP.
