How to replace the Knock Sensor (KS) for Bank 2 on 2007 Cadillac CTS?

Begin the KS replacement process by turning OFF the ignition then supporting and lifting the car. Gaining access requires removal of the wiring harness heat shield from the oil level indicator tube followed by disconnecting the KS electrical connector. Drain away the KS bolt to extract the KS. The Fastener Notice should be followed when installing your new KS. Secure the KS with the bolt by applying torque to 23 N.m (17 lb ft). Before lowering the vehicle complete the instructions by reattaching the KS electrical connector while reinstalling the wiring harness heat shield on the oil level indicator tube.
