How to Service and Repair the Washer Pump on Cadillac CTS?

Before handling the windshield washer pump you need to remove the lower air deflector while draining the washer solvent into a safe vessel. Pull off the hockey and electrical pieces from their positions on the washer pump before taking it out of the washer solvent storage unit. Before putting the washer pump in place you should apply washer solvent to its intake nozzle to make it easier to insert into the washer container. Secure the washer pump and confirm its stable attachment. Reconnect the electrical button and washer hose to the pump after installing the lower air shield and opening the hood. Add new washer solvent to the container and check if the pump works properly before shutting the hood.
