  • Q: How to replace the air hose outlet duct on 2006 Cadillac DTS?
    A: Before affixing the air cleaner outlet duct, remove both the engine harness electrical connector from the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor and the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) fresh air tube quick connect fitting from the air cleaner outlet duct. Start by loosening the air cleaner outlet duct clamp at the Throttle Body and removing the duct from both the Throttle Body and maf/iat sensor before removing it from the vehicle. During installation fit the air cleaner outlet duct to both the vehicle and maf/iat sensor using a clamp torque set to 3 n.m (27 lb in). Install the duct onto the Throttle Body and apply 3 n.m (27 lb in) force to the clamp for tightening. Connect the pcv fresh air tube quick connect fitting to the air cleaner outlet duct and restore the engine harness electrical connector to the maf/iat sensor.
