How to replace the alternator on 2006 Cadillac DTS?

In order to replace the generator, unconnect the negative battery cable, unconnect the radiator, drive belt, and unconnect the engine wiring harness. Disconnect the generator terminal nut and bolts, rearrange the engine ground cable, and remove the generator. To install it, place the generator, place bolts and re-connect.
