  A: Begin generator replacement by taking out the negative cable that connects to the battery. Begin by taking out both the Radiator along with the Drive Belt. Tear the engine wiring harness electrical connector away from the generator before repositioning the protective boot of the starter solenoid cable at the same position. Transfer both the generator terminal nut and starter solenoid cable terminal from the generator piece-by-piece before bolting the generator in place. First disconnect the generator then move the engine ground cable. To start the generator installation process you should place it on the engine and then tighten the generator bolts by hand in this particular order: upper bolt first followed by side bolt then lower bolt afterward you should apply 50 nm (37 lb ft) of torque to the bolts. Begin installation by placement of the upper bolt followed by the side bolt and then the lower bolt before securing all generator bolts at 50 nm torque (37 lb ft). Fasten the starter solenoid cable terminal to the generator while also tightening the generator terminal nut to 12 nm (106 lb in). The starter solenoid's protective boot receives its position at the generator location before hooking up the engine wiring harness electrical connector. Insert the Drive Belt followed by the Radiator installation. After finishing up connect the Battery Cable to the negative terminal.
