Start by taking out both the Radiator and Drive Belt from their position. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector from the generator while moving the starter solenoid cable protective boot to its new position at the generator. Start by taking off the generator terminal nut and the starter solenoid cable terminal from the generator and continuing by removing the generator bolts. The installation begins by uninstalling the generator while keeping the engine ground cable in position. For installation, position the generator to the engine and install the generator bolts finger tight in the following sequence: the installation sequence begins with the upper bolt followed by the side bolt and ends with the lower bolt. Follow the generator bolt torque sequence by tightening them to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Press the starter solenoid cable terminal onto the generator before tightening the terminal nut to 12 n.m (106 lb in). Install the starter solenoid cable protective boot at the generator before you connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the generator. After installing the Radiator you should install the Drive Belt. Successful completion of the procedure involves securing the negative Battery Cable.
