How to replace the water pump (LY7) on 2006 Cadillac SRX?

To change the Water Pump (LY7), first, drain cooling system and remove the generator Drive Belt. Use the Water Pump Pulley holding tool (EN 46104) to hold the Water Pump Pulley, remove Water Pump Pulley bolts and pull off the pulley. Then proceed to remove the bolts of Water Pump and the Water Pump itself that will be followed by discarding the old Water Pump seal. Very carefully clean the sealing surface of the Water Pump. Fit new Water Pump seal and Water Pump and then fit Water Pump bolts and tighten them to 10 nm (89 inch lbs). Fit the Water Pump Pulley and its bolts, taking care to use the Water Pump Pulley holding tool again (EN 46104) to retain the pulley and torque the bolts to 12 nm (106 inch lbs.). Lastly, refit the Drive Belt of the generator and refill the cooling system.
