A mechanic must take out the Flywheel before changing the crankshaft rear oil seal. The rear oil seal remover (J 42841-A) helps remove the rear crankshaft oil seal. Before putting in a new crankshaft rear oil seal you should make sure the drain stays unblocked because drainage blockage may cause leaks. Thorough cleaning happens to the oil seal drain. Using the crankshaft rear oil seal installer (J 45930-A) you can properly install your new rear crankshaft oil seal. Finally, reinstall the Flywheel.
