How to replace the LH secondary camshaft Timing Chain Guide on 2006 Cadillac STS?

Replacement of the left Timing Chain Guide starts by taking away the left Timing Chain tensioner and the left camshaft position actuator housing without severing the camshaft actuator solenoids. Use the crankshaft socket (J 39946) to turn the crankshaft until the two camshaft position actuator timing marks reach their highest point of motion. Fasten the right camshafts with the camshaft holding tool (EN 46328). Use paint marks on a Timing Chain link next to camshaft position actuator timing marks as well as the primary chain link and intermediate primary chain sprocket tooth. Use an open-end wrench to prevent camshaft rotation during the loosing process which leads to left exhaust oil control valve removal. First remove the left exhaust camshaft actuator followed by disconnecting its sprocket's teeth from the Timing Chain then take out the guide bolt of the left Timing Chain and disassemble the left Timing Chain Guide. Before installing the new left Timing Chain Guide into the left front Cylinder Head professionals should clean all components and inspect them. Then they should install the guide bolt and tighten it to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.). Install the left exhaust actuator onto the chain while maintaining positioning according to the original marked chain link and install the oil control valve loosely. An open-end wrench should be used during oil control valve installation to stop camshaft rotation before tightening to 120 nm (89 ft. Lbs.). The left Timing Chain tensioner must be installed while verifying the paint marks match the sprocket timing marks before installing the left camshaft actuator housing.
