    The procedure for replacing the Timing Chain Guide requires complete removal of the right side secondary camshaft drive chain followed by taking off the left side secondary camshaft drive chain. The procedure requires removal of the right side secondary camshaft drive chain shoe and guide before proceeding with the left side secondary camshaft drive chain shoe and guide. First remove the oil outlet tube from the engine followed by the Timing Chain Tensioner and the engine block bolts which secure the Timing Chain Guide. Lastly take out the Timing Chain Guide itself. A thorough cleaning followed by inspection has to take place for the camshaft timing drive components. Installation of the Timing Chain Guide begins by installing retaining bolts then tightening them to 25 nm (18 ft. Lbs.) before fitting the Timing Chain Tensioner. The engine installation requires the oil outlet tube first followed by left side and right side secondary camshaft drive chain guides and shoes. Install the left and right side secondary camshaft drive chains as the final step.
