How to replace the lower rear side access door striker on 2006 Chevrolet Colorado?

Start by opening the rear side access door while removing the bolts which hold the lower side access door striker onto the body to extract the striker. Secure the new lower side access door striker on the body by following the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions and tighten its bolts to 25 N.m (18.4 lb ft). Complete the process by shutting down the rear side access door.
