How to replace the positive battery cable on 2006 Chevrolet Corvette?

The first step in replacing the positive Battery Cable requires users to detach the negative cable. Begin by opening the stud cover of the fus/relay center and then disconnecting the positive Battery Cable nut attached to the fuse/relay center stud together with the positive Battery Cable lead at that same stud. The battery cables should be accessible by lifting the carpet so you can remove their retaining elements and grommet from the dash panel before pulling out the positive cable. Begin the installation of new positive Battery Cable while position the dash panel grommet in its correct spot. Insert the positive Battery Cable into the retainers before putting back the carpet while connecting its lead to the fuse/relay center stud. Complete the cable connection by connecting the negative terminal then follow with secure attachment of the positive lead to fuse/relay center using the cable nut while tightening it to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Finish the relay center stud closure with the stud cover.
