    A: In order to remove the Steering Knuckle you will first need to raise and prop the vehicle. This involves removing the brake caliper and rotor, and.msg the stabilizer shaft link attached to the lower Control Arm otherwise removing and disconnecting the Wheel Speed Sensor electrical connector. Using a jack stand, hold the lower Control Arm in place. Use the j 42188 ball joint separator (J 42188) to remove the steering linkage outer tie rod ball stud from Steering Knuckle and upper Control Arm ball joint stud from Steering Knuckle and thereby the lower ball joint stud off the Steering Knuckle. After loosening the Steering Knuckle, install the new Steering Knuckle into the upper and lower control arms, then, take off the jackstand. Retap the steering linkage outer tie rod ball stud to the Steering Knuckle and install the stabilizer shaft link with tension to the lower Control Arm tightening the stabilizer shaft link nut to 72 nm (53 ft. Lbs.). Connect the electrical connector of the Wheel Speed Sensor, as well as the brake rotor and caliper before fitting the tire and wheel assembly. Lower the vehicle and inspect the front wheel toe, tuning it, if necessary.
