Support the separated brake caliper through its connection to the hydraulic flexible hose by using wire mechanics support tools to avoid brake hose damage from poor handling during bracket replacement. Take the brake caliper off from its mounting bracket by itself with the hydraulic brake hose attached before removing the brake pads and afterwards the caliper bracket bolts and bracket. Thoroughly clean and inspect the threads on caliper bracket bolts plus the mounting holes of the knuckle to reach optimal clamp load requirements. Use.threadlocker.p/n 12345493.or.equivalent to protect the threads of bedplate bolts before installing the caliper bracket with installed bolts and tighten to 115nm(85ftlbs). Reinstall the brake pads and caliper in the proper order.
