How to replace the trailing arm on 2006 Chevrolet Malibu?

In order to replace the Trailing Arm, first lift and support the vehicle, and remove the tire and wheel. Second, remove the Trailing Arm to body through bolt and the Trailing Arm to knuckle through bolt. Disconnect the Parking Brake Cable from the Trailing Arm and therefore remove the Trailing Arm from the vehicle then the Trailing Arm to bracket bolt and nut to release the Trailing Arm from the bracket. For installation, mount the arm and bracket and tighten the arms to bracket through bolt 60 nm (44 ft. Lbs.) + 60 degress. Place the Trailing Arm to vehicle and install the Trailing Arm to knuckle bolts tightening at 180 nm (133 ft. Lbs.). Reattach the Parking Brake Cable to the Trailing Arm and then install Trailing Arm bracket to body bolts which should be tightened at a force of 90 nm (66 ft. Lbs.) and 30 degrees additionally with 15 degrees. Lastly, fix the tire and wheel and then lower the car.
