    A: In order to replace the lower Control Arm bushings, make sure you have the needed tools: Control Arm Bushing set (J 21474-01), 1/2 inch puller bolt thrust bearing (J 21474-27), bushing installer remover (J 21474-2), nut (J 21474-4), Control Arm Bushing installer (J 21474-13), high pressure lubricant (J 23444-A), driven sprocket take off the lower Control Arm and put it into a vice to help you work on it. Put a mark across the lower Control Arm where the flange of the bushing joins the arm. Put high pressure lubricant (J 23444-A) on the threads of the puller bolt thrust bearing (J 21474-27). Assemble the bushing removal tools: you will use the puller bolt thrust bearing (J 21474-27), Control Arm Bushing installer (J 21474-13), driven sprocket support bearing installer (J 34126), front knuckle support (J 35379), bushing installer remover (J 21474-2), and nut (J 21474-4). Turn the nut (J 21474-4) tight and take apart the bushing removal tools afterward. When installing, verify the lower Control Arm vertical bushing is set up as needed for the right ride, handling, and road feel by aligning the bushing's flange with the mark on the Control Arm and having it sit at 30 degrees from the car's centerline. Slide the bushing into place in the Control Arm, put high pressure lubricant (J 23444-A) on the threads of the puller bolt thrust bearing (J 21474-27), and attach the installation tools. Puller bolt thrust bearing (J 21474-27), bushing installer remover (J 21474-2), Control Arm Bushing installer (J 21474-13), and nut (J 21474-4). After tightening nut (J 21474-4), dismantle the installation tools before fixing the lower Control Arm into place.
