How to replace the lower fan shroud on 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500?

Start the replacement of the lower Fan Shroud by taking out the cooling fan. The vehicle requires removal of the oil cooler hose clip when the lower Fan Shroud is fitted with an Engine Oil Cooler. You should lift the lower Fan Shroud to remove it from the clips that retain it to the Radiator. When installing the lower Fan Shroud position it onto the Radiator retaining clips while pressing down. Reinstall the cooling fan while reattaching the oil cooler hose clip when applicable to the lower Fan Shroud.
