You can start replacing the rear Brake Disc thanks to the j 2619-01 slide hammer with adapter and j 46277 rotor removal tool. Before starting check if the park brake is engaged then check brake master cylinder reservoir fluid near the center between high and low marks. Locate the tire on the wheel then document how the disc fits to the hub. Use a heavy c-clamp to compress brake caliper pistons then disconnect the Brake Caliper Bracket bolts while securing the caliper on heavy mechanic's wire without touching the hydraulic brake flexible hose. Free the retainer nuts first when removing these parts. Hammering the hub or disc with a deadblow hammer will split them if nuts are not enough to release them. If you cannot safely remove the disc put together j 2619-01 and j 46277 and insert them between the friction surfaces to help with the extraction. Test the park brake system parts for damage and install replacement units where necessary. Prepare the hub and axle flange surfaces with j 42450-a wheel hub resurfacing kit and j 41013 rotor resurfacing kit tools to help reduce lateral runout sensitivity during Brake Disc installation. Mount the disc onto its space while verifying there are no unwanted particles inside. You should measure the lateral runout of the assembled Brake Disc and modify it when necessary. Put back the caliper and its bracket after cleaning the bolt threads and treating them with threadlocker gm p/n 12345493 (Canadian P/N 10953488). Tighten the caliper bracket bolts to 200 nm (148 ft. Lbs.). After reattaching the wheel and tire parts put gradually pressure on the brake pedal to let the pads and caliper pistons engage their position. Also refill the master cylinder reservoir with new brake fluid when required.
