To replace the power steering gear heat shield, raise and support the vehicle. Remove the stabilizer shaft links and rotate the shaft downwards. Take out the plastic clip and remove the retaining bolts. Install the new heat shield, secure it, reattach the clip, and reinstall the stabilizer shaft links.
