Start by retrieving refrigerant then detach the compressor discharge hose nut followed by the compressor discharge hose from the condenser. The procedure starts with removing three main components: Hood Latch, head lamp housing panel, and radiator diagonal brace. Start by removing the bolts which secure the upper radiator support before removing the support itself. Start by removing the evaporator tube nut and tube from the condenser point and finally remove the studs securing the condenser inlet and outlets. Separate the condenser lh upper bracket bolt followed by its bracket while unfastening all condenser to radiator bolts to finally extract the condenser from the radiator. Secure the new condenser inside the radiator by adding refrigerant oil followed by installation before torquing the condenser to radiator bolts to 9 n.m (80 lb in). Begin by tightening the condenser lh upper bracket bolt and bracket to 9 n.m (80 lb in) then secure the studs from the condenser inlet and outlets to 4.5 n.m (40 lb in). Position the evaporator tube before tightening the nut to 28 n.m (21 lb in) torque setting. Install the upper radiator support bar alongside its bolts at a torque setting of 50 n.m while tightening the radiator diagonal brace and head lamp housing panel and Hood Latch. The last stage requires connecting the compressor discharge hose to the condenser while tightening the compressor discharge hose nut to 28 n.m (210 lb in). Afterward, the a/c system must undergo an evacuation and recharging process.
