    Q:
How to replace the A/C Condenser in a system on Buick Rainier? Posted by Customer
    A:
Frigenrnt recovery begins before installing a new condenser. The compressor discharge hose connection requires removal at both ends from the condenser by untightening the nut and hose. After removing the evaporator tube nut installed on the condenser extract the evaporator tube from the condenser . The replacement process starts with Hood Latch removal and condenser retaining screws before removing the condenser from its radiator placement. When replacing the condenser install it back onto the radiator while adding new refrigerant oil. Fasten the condenser into position with the retaining screws until they are torqued to 5 n.m (44 lb in). Put the Hood Latch back into place while linking the evaporator tube to the condenser . Install the retaining nut to the evaporator tube at the condenser before tightening it to 28 n.m (21 lb ft). Connect the compressor discharge hose to the condenser while installing its retaining nut before tightening both to 28 n.m (21 lb ft). Complete system evacuation and recharging follows a leak examination of fittings through utilization of the halogen leak detector (J 39400-A).

    Q:
How to replace the A/C Condenser on Chevrolet Trailblazer? Posted by Customer
    A:
In order to replace the air conditioning condenser, you have to recover the refrigerant. Unscrew the compressor discharge hose nut and drive the compressor discharge hose off the condenser. Then, take off the Hood Latch, head lamp housing panel, and radiator diagonal brace. Later , remove the bolts from the upper radiator support and remove the upper radiator support then. Remove the evaporator tube nut s and the evaporator tube from the condenser, take off studs from the condenser inlet and outlets as wall as the condenser lh upper bracket bolt and bracket and the condenser to radiator bolts to separate the condenser from the radiator. Instead of replacing the condenser, for installation, add refrigerant oil into it. Mount the condenser onto the radiator and tighten it using bolts that are tightened to 9 nm (80 lb in). Mount the condenser lh upper bracket bolt and bracket, tightening to 9 nm (80 lb in), then install the studs on the condenser inlet and outlets, tightening to 4.5 nm (40 lb in). Connect the evaporator tube and the evaporator tube nut with the condenser, torquing the nut to 28 nm (21lb ft). Replace the upper radiator support bar and fasten with bolts at 50 nm (37 lb ft) and then radiator diagonal brace; head lamp housing panel. Reattach the hood lash, attach compressor discharge hose to condenser, and attach compressor discharge hose nut tightening to 16 nm (12 lb ft). Finally, evacuate and charge the ac system and conduct a leak test on the fittings by using the j 39400-a halogen leak detector.

    Q:
What tools are required to service and repair the A/C Condenser on GMC Envoy? Posted by Customer
    A:
Service and repair operations on hvac condensers need these essential tools: halogen leak detector (J 39400-A). Halogen leak detector (J 39400-A). Start with baffle removal before recovering refrigerant. Begin by taking off the compressor discharge hose nut which maintains attachment between the condenser and compressor discharge hose from the condenser . The evaporator tube nut must be unscrewed from the condenser along with the complete removal of the evaporator tube from the condenser . First remove the Radiator then take out the retaining screws from the condenser and finally remove the condenser from the Radiator. Add all required refrigerant oil based on the system capacities before changing out the condenser. Screw in the new condenser to the Radiator while ensuring retaining screws reach 5 n.m (44 lb in). Combine the evaporator tube with the condenser before installing the retaining nut to the evaporator tube at the condenser while tightening it to 28 n.m (21 lb ft). Install the retaining nut to the compressor discharge hose at the condenser and tighten it to 28 n.m (21 lb ft). The evacuation and recharging of the a/c system should happen after which technicians can install the upper Radiator baffle then apply a halogen leak detector (J 39400-A) to check for fittings leaks.
