How to replace the Air Bag Sensor in the Front End on 2007 Buick Rendezvous?

To replace the inflatable restraint front end sensor, one has to disable first the sir system. Unfasten the grille and retainers holding the upper front Bumper fascia to the radiator support, and yank the fascia free to reach the sensor bolts. Unplug the orange connector position assurance (CPA) from the yellow sensor harness connector and remove the harness connector from the sensor. Remove sensor bolts and take out the sensor from the upper radiator core support. Clean the mounting surface off the dirt, grease, and contaminants for installation. Connect the sensor harness connector to the sensor and plug the orange cpa into the yellow sensor harness connector. Mount the sensor on the upper radiator core support with the arrow facing front of the vehicle, and install the sensor bolts and tighten them with 9n.m (80 lb in). Secure fascia to the radiator support, reinstall retainers for the upper front Bumper fascia, install the grille, and lastly re-enable the sir system.
