  A: Start your Water Pump replacement process by emptying all the cooling system fluid. You should take off the Drive Belt first by loosening the Water Pump Pulley nuts. Loosen all Water Pump Pulley bolts before taking out both the Water Pump Pulley and pulley itself. Unbolt the Water Pump then take it out from the engine while discarding the used gasket. Prepare Water Pump mating surfaces by cleaning them properly before putting a replacement gasket on the Water Pump. Secure the Water Pump onto its bolts while turning them to 10 n.m (89 lb in). After putting back the Water Pump Pulley install the Drive Belt while the bolts remain snugged. Complete the process by fastening the Water Pump Pulley bolts at 25 n.m (18 lb ft) and filling the cooling system.
