  A: First support the brake caliper on machinery wire without disconnecting the hydraulic Brake Line. Start by removing the brake pads and then braking pad retainers from the Brake Caliper Bracket. Finally disconnect all the bolts from this bracket. Clean bolt threads using a wire brush and then take off the Brake Caliper Bracket with bolts and bolt boots. Check the Brake Caliper Bracket for structural breaks and verify if it meets its shape. Also remove all rust and debris that affects Brake Pad retainer and pad contact areas. Secure the Brake Caliper Bracket by fixing it back into its original location after checking that all threads on bolt interfaces match corresponding brake mounting hole dimensions within the knuckle. Use gm p/n 12345493 lubricant or its equivalent to coat the Brake Caliper Bracket bolt threads before torquing them to 185 n.m (137 lb ft). Use brake retainers to mount them on the Brake Caliper Bracket and coat the attaches with high-temperature silicone brake lubricant which goes between the pads and retainers. Apply high-temperature silicone brake lubricant onto the brake caliper bolt boots before attaching them to their designated positions on the bracket. Attach the brake pads to their slots on the Brake Caliper Bracket and bring back the brake caliper.
