How to replace the rear suspension sway bar link on 2007 Cadillac CTS?

The first step for Sway Bar Link replacement in rear suspension work consists of wheel and tire removal and vehicle support. Starting with nut removal from the Sway Bar Link retaining brackets allows subsequent detachment of the Sway Bar Link from both its sway bar connection and lower Control Arm interface. Follow the fastener notice when installing the Sway Bar Link by first mounting it to the lower Control Arm then the sway bar. Use the retaining nuts to fasten the Sway Bar Link and torque them to 50 n.m (37 lb ft) of torque. Position the tire and wheel back on the car after which you can lower the vehicle.
