How to replace the engine coolant fan motor on 2007 Cadillac SRX?

Begin the engine coolant Fan Motor replacement process by removing the cooling fan assembly after which you must loosen the Fan Blade retaining nut from the motor shaft until you can detach the Fan Blade. Remove the motor retaining screws followed by pulling the motor out of the shroud. Secure the motor by inserting it into the shroud while following the fastener notice and using cooling Fan Motor retaining screws which should be tightened to 5 n.m (44 lb in). Fasten the Fan Blade onto the motor shaft while rotating it so it falls into place before installing the Fan Blade retaining nut onto the motor at 7 n.m (62 lb in). Reinstall the cooling fan assembly as the final step of the procedure.
