Begin by disconnecting the electrical connector for the camshaft position (CMP) sensor and proceed with removing its bolt and sensor from its spot. First follow the Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices before installing the CMP sensor by securing the CMP sensor bolt. The installation of the CMP sensor bolt requires proper force of 10 N.m (89 lb in). Reconnect the CMP sensor electrical connector while you reinstall the front compartment sight shields according to requirement.
