How to replace the Knock Sensor (KS) for Bank 2 on 2007 Cadillac STS?

You must start by turning off the ignition and placing support under the vehicle before KS replacement for Bank 2. You must first remove the wiring harness heat shield from the oil level indicator tube to get access before disconnecting the KS electrical connector. Follow by removing the KS bolt followed by the complete removal of the KS. Position the KS first and observe the instructions provided in the Fastener Notice during installation. Secure the KS with the bolt, tightening it to 23 N.m (17 lb ft), then reconnect the KS electrical connector. Replace the wiring harness heat shield onto the oil level indicator tube before lowering the vehicle.
