  A: Before replacing the Ignition Coil for bank 1 start by turning off the ignition while also removing the engine cover but keeping fuel pipes and hoses intact. To replace an Ignition Coil for cylinder 1 or 3 users must remove and reposition the Intake Manifold by disconnecting the air cleaner duct from the Throttle Body and the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose from the right bank camshaft cover but must keep the upper Intake Manifold attached to the lower Intake Manifold. The next step requires fading out the Intake Manifold bolts as well as the Intake Manifold brace bolts (1 and 2) while also taking out the brace before repositioning the upper Intake Manifold with the lower Intake Manifold to create adequate access space for Ignition Coil extraction. Unplug the Ignition Coil electrical connectors before you remove Ignition Coil bolts and pull out the ignition coils. After completing installation insert the Ignition Coil(s) so tighten the Ignition Coil bolt(s) to 10 n.m (89 lb in) and reattach the Ignition Coil electrical connector(s). Intake manifold replacement might also be necessary. Finally, replace the engine cover.
