How to replace the LH Differential Cover and seal on 2007 Cadillac STS?

To cover up Differential carrrier in the left side, ons should first remove the rear Differential. Next remove the 9 carrier cover bolts. Pry open the pry tabs (4, 5, 7), and remove the carrier cover from the Differential carrier and pry out the o-ring seal from the cover. For install, push the housing cover o-ring into the groove on the housing cover and apply a light coat of oil onto it prior to the insertion of the housing cover to the housing . Replace the 9 bolts for side cover and tighten them in a criss-cross pattern to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Finally, reinstall the rear Differential.
