How to replace the engine coolant fan motor on 2007 Cadillac STS?

The first step of engine coolant Fan Motor replacement requires removing both the cooling fan assembly and separating the Fan Blade from its motor shaft through the removal of the Fan Blade retaining nut. After removing the motor retaining screws you must pull the motor from its shroud position. Set the motor inside the shroud and install the cooling Fan Motor retaining screws with a torque of 5 n.m (44 lb in). Position the Fan Blade on the motor shaft before rotating it until the blade drops onto place. Secure the retaining nut on the motor while tightening it to 7 n.m (62 lb in). To complete the task install the cooling fan assembly.
