How to replace the Engine Oil Cooler Hose/Pipe on 2007 Cadillac XLR?

Before hose/pipe replacement start by elevating and stabilizing the vehicle then remove the left lower front bumper close out panel and position an oil drain pan beneath. Separate the engine Oil Cooler Hose/pipe from the external oil cooler before disconnecting the hose/pipe clip from both the engine and Fan Shroud. Then remove the external hose/pipe from the engine and vehicle. Discard all old hose/pipe seals. Begin tire installation by mounting new engine Oil Cooler Hose/pipe seals before you attach the external hose/pipe to the vehicle while ensuring a proper quick connect fit. After establishing the external hose/pipe to the engine it's essential to secure the clips on both the engine and Fan Shroud before verifying the quick connect fitting proper engagement. After completing the process reinstall the left lower front bumper close out panel then fill the engine with oil before conducting a leak check-up.
