Use hose clamp pliers (J38185) for repositioning the heater outlet hose clamp at the Heater Core before removing the heater outlet hose. Use hose clamp pliers (J38185) to shift the heater inlet hose clamp at the Heater Core before taking out the heater inlet hose. You should now remove both the cover and core of the heater unit. The lower hvac case foam Heater Core seal warrants inspection for damage before if needed replacement with kent industries adhesive black foam tape (P/N 46480) or its equivalent. The Heater Core installation starts with placing the new component into the hvac module before adding the Heater Core cover. You must reinstall the heater outlet hose to the Heater Core while using hose clamp pliers (J38185) for hose clamp tightening. Install the heater inlet hose with a hose clamp through hose clamp pliers (J38185) before settling the clamp. Finally, fill the cooling system.
