Position a jackstand under the lower Control Arm which lets you raise it slightly to compress the coil spring. Follow this procedure: first remove the lower shock bolt and nut and next loosen the lower Control Arm support frame nut and bolt before taking out the lower Control Arm to knuckle nut and bolt. Lower the Control Arm to reduce coil spring tension before taking out both the coil spring and insulators. Examine both upper and lower insulators in the coil spring. Stakeholders should restore existing parts if insulators become defective yet keep current components during undamaged situations. Lower the jackstand to press down the spring as you install rubber insulators alongside the spring into the vehicle. Attache the knuckle to the lower Control Arm by installing the bolt and nut in place. Torque these components to 160 n.m (118 lb.ft). Mount the shock to the lower Control Arm nut and bolt before tightening the lower shock bolt and nut to 110 n.m (81 lb ft). After removing the jackstand and reinstalling the stabilizer shaft link and rear tire and wheel assembly the vehicle can be lowered. Finally, check the rear alignment.
