How to replace the Blend Door Actuator on 2007 Chevrolet HHR?

To replace the Air Temperature Actuator, the vehicle's fuse labeled HVAC CTRL (BATT), knee bolster reinforcement, and instrument panel (I/P) tie bar must be removed. Now disconnect the air temperature actuator air connector, remove the actuator screws, the actuator. For installation, do not leave the key in the ON position when you are connecting the electrical connectors to ensure that they are correctly calibrated. Install an air temperature actuator and then fix it with screws that are tight at 2.2 N.m19 lb.in. Reconnect the air temperature actuator electrical connector, I/P tie bar and knee bolster reinforcement installation. Finally, install a new fuse, labeled HVAC CTRL (BATT). Do not change any of the controls on the HVAC control assembly so as not to have an improper HVAC performance and run the engine for one minute.
