    Q: How to replace the Blend Door Actuator on Chevrolet HHR?
    A: To replace the air-temperature actuator, one should begin by removing the Fuse labeled hvac ctrl (BATT) and knee bolster reinforcement. Next, remove the instrument panel (I/P) tie bar. Depress the air temperature actuator electrical connector. Remove the screws that are holding the air temperature actuator in the place and after that take out the actuator itself. And for installation, make sure the key is off when you're working with the electrical connectors to ensure proper calibration. Mount the air temperature actuator and then screws with the torque of 2.2 n.m (19 lb in). Reconnect the electrical connector of the actuator to measure the air temperature and reinstall the tie bar for the i/p and the reinforcement for the knee bolster. Finally, change the Fuse marked hvac ctrl (BATT). Don't tamper with any controls on the hvac control assembly so as to prevent the wrong performance of hvac and start the engine allowing it to run for a minute.
