How to replace the Blend Door Actuator on 2010 Chevrolet HHR?

Replacing the air temperature valve actuator requires removing the hvac ctrl (BATT) fuse together with the knee bolster reinforcement. The air temperature actuator electrical connector requires disconnection before removing screws holding the actuator together. After disconnecting all parts take out the actuator. Installation requires that the key remains in off mode before connecting electrical connectors to achieve proper calibration. Position and screw down the new air temperature actuator with screws that reach 2.2 nm (19 lb in) torque specification. After reattaching the air temperature actuator electrical connector you must reinstall both the knee bolster reinforcement and the Fuse hvac ctrl (BATT). Do not modify hvac control assembly controls because it will result in improper hvac performance. After starting the engine maintain a one-minute continuous operation.
