How to replace the Lash Adjusters on 2007 Chevrolet Impala?

Start by taking out the lower Intake Manifold followed by the valve rocker arms and pushrods while keeping in mind that you cannot remove the valve lifter guide bolts. Begin by unscrewing the valve lifter guide bolts after which remove the guides followed by extracting the lifters from each guide. Apply degreaser for cleaning all gasket surfaces. Apply prelube coating to each valve lifter before placing them into their designated cylinder bore. Apply threadlock to valve lifter guide bolt threads right before you install the valve lifter guides. Tighten these bolts to 10 n.m (89 lb in). After cleaning all gasket surfaces reinsert the valve rocker arms and pushrods and lower Intake Manifold.
