How to replace the rear sway bar link in the suspension on 2007 Chevrolet Impala?

The first step to replace the Sway Bar Link in the rear suspension requires the vehicle to be raised and properly supported. Remove the Sway Bar Link nut from both Sway Bar Link and sway bar then take off the Sway Bar Link nut from Sway Bar Link and strut. Remove the Sway Bar Link from the automotive body as the next step. According to the procedure one must position the Sway Bar Link back onto the vehicle before attaching it to the sway bar. Follow the fastener notice then tighten the lower Sway Bar Link nut to 50 n.m (37 lb ft) while securing it to the Sway Bar Link and sway bar. Install the upper Sway Bar Link nut to the Sway Bar Link and the strut while tightening it to 52 n.m (38 lb ft). Finally, lower the vehicle.
