How to replace the water pump for RPOs LZE, LZ4, and LZ8 on 2007 Chevrolet Impala?

The first task to replace the Water Pump for vehicles with rpos lze lz4 and lz8 is to drain the cooling system. Plasticize Water Pump Pulley bolts before taking off the Drive Belt. First remove the Water Pump Pulley bolts and pulley. Then clean the space by removing both Water Pump bolts. Take off the Water Pump and gasket before you clean its mating areas. Place a new Water Pump gasket and Water Pump on the engine front cover before screwing Water Pump bolts in place at 10 n.m (89 lb in). Place both Water Pump Pulley bolts and install the v-belt over the pump. Torque the Water Pump Pulley bolts to 25 n.m during this process. Complete filling up the cooling system before looking for any leaking damage.
