    Before starting you must drain the cooling system and loosen the Water Pump Drive Belt bolts to remove the belt first. You need to uninstall the Water Pump Pulley bolts then pulley and proceed by removing the Water Pump bolts and pump with its gasket. Prepare the Water Pump surfaces for installation by cleaning them first then putting on the gasket and pump according to the fastener notice. Fasten the Water Pump bolts according to the specified torque setting of 10 n.m (89 lb in). Firmly install the Water Pump Pulley using its bolts before reattaching the Drive Belt. Then torque the Water Pump Pulley bolts to 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Complete the cooling system with coolant then search for fluid leaks.

    Start replacement of the Water Pump by draining the cooling system using either static fill lz9 or vac-n-fill procedures. First loosen all bolts that hold the Water Pump Pulley then pull off the Drive Belt. Begin by loosening the pulley bolts and removing the pulley. Then unfasten the Water Pump bolts and take out the pump with its gasket. Prepare the Water Pump surfaces for installation by cleaning them before putting on the new gasket and pump. Secure the Water Pump bolts by turning them to 10 n.m (89 lb in). Secure the new Water Pump Pulley to its place and fasten the bolts after placing the Drive Belt onto the unit. Use a torque wrench to fasten the Water Pump Pulley bolts at 25 n.m (18 lb ft). Complete the cooling system by using the chosen filling procedure static fill lz9 or vac-n-fill and then check for fluid loss.
