How to replace the water pump on LZE-3.5L Flex Fuel, LZ4-3.5L Gas, or LZG-3.9L Flex Fuel engines on 2009 Chevrolet Impala?

Start the Water Pump replacement work by draining the cooling system from lze-3.5l flex fuel, lz4-3.5l gas, and lzg-3.9l flex fuel engines. Reduce tension on the Water Pump Pulley bolts and slide off the belt drive. Remove the Water Pump Pulley bolts first then detach the pulley before unfastening all Water Pump bolts. Clear the Water Pump area by removing its components and wiping both surfaces. Place a new Water Pump gasket and Water Pump correctly on top of the engine front cover and bolt it down at exactly 15 nm (11 lb ft). Place the Water Pump Drive Belt back onto its place as you secure the Water Pump Pulley bolts to a torque of 25 nm (18 lb ft). Double-check the cooling system then check for any fluid leaks.
