How to replace the right side engine mount on 2007 GMC Canyon?

The tire along with wheel must be removed first before proceeding with removal of the engine shield when you replace the right side engine mount. Place a wooden block between the jack stand and engine support for the replacement procedure then unscrew the through bolt of the mount that needs replacement from the engine mount-to-frame bracket while loosening the left side through bolt. The engine-mount replacement process starts with allowing the engine to tilt by using a jack stand after engine elevation then requiring bolt removal from the engine mount before finishing removal. The engineer should position the new engine mount correctly before installing the engine mount bolts beginning with the first bolt to help with mounting. Lay the engine on its supporting stands after installing the bolts at 50 N.m (37 lb ft). Then insert and tighten the engine mount-to-frame bracket through bolt at 85 N.m (63 lb ft). You should take out the jack stand while reinstalling the engine shield if present and replacing the wheel with its tire assembly.
