How to replace the rear trunk latch on 2007 GMC Envoy?

In order to install a new liftgate latch, take out the liftgate window garnish molding and a trim panel. Unbolt the handle rod and bellcrank rod and the latch assembly. Unscrew the screwdriver and peel off the latch. To install, attach the latch assembly, attach the rods and re-insert the trim panel and molding.
