    Q:
How to replace the rear trunk latch on GMC Envoy? Posted by Customer
    A:
You must dismantle the liftgate window garnish and trim panel before substituting the liftgate latch. Unclip both components: the handle rod from the bellcrank and the bellcrank rod from the latch assembly. Unscrew the bellcrank screws attached to the latch/lock before removing the bellcrank piece. Remove the electrical connector from its position on the latch assembly plus disconnect the lock cylinder bellcrank rod from its mounting on the latch assembly. Take out the latch/lock assembly by unscrewing it from its mounting position on the liftgate. Position the latch/lock assembly onto the liftgate then install the screws while tightening them to 89 lb in according to the prescribed torque. Join the electrical and lock cylinder bellcrank rod to the latch/lock hardware unit. Place the bellcrank onto the latch/lock assembly structure then thread screws before tightening them to 0.7 newton meter (6 pound inch). Link the button to the handle setup through the bellcrank mechanism while also attaching the door handle rod to the bellcrank. Finish by putting back the trim panel and door window decoration.

    Q:
How to replace the rear side door lock actuator on Chevrolet Trailblazer? Posted by Customer
    A:
You must begin the process of replacing the rear side Door Lock Actuator by taking away the door trim panel. Begin by removing the water deflector after taking out the Door Latch Assembly. You need to remove the 2 screws which hold the actuator in place on the lock. Then you must raise and turn the actuator in opposition to the latch direction to take off the rubber Bumper. Reinstall the rubber Bumper onto the latch then position the actuator toward the latch to reach full engagement of the rubber Bumper. The very first gear tooth of the actuator's apparatus should connect properly with its matching tooth on the latch component. Place the actuator at the top of the latch before using the two retaining screws to secure it to the lock with 0.75 nm torque (6 lb in). Follow the above steps to replace the lock to the door then add the water deflector and fit back the door trim panel.

    Q:
How to replace the rear side door lock actuator on GMC Envoy? Posted by Customer
    A:
First remove the door trim panel and then the water deflector together with the Door Latch Assembly to access the rear side Door Lock Actuator. There are two screws which maintain the actuator in place to the lock. Lift the actuator away from the latch simultaneous to its rotation which disengages the rubber Bumper from the latch before removing the actuator from the post. First install the rubber Bumper on the latch then direct the actuator in the direction of the latch while fully engaging the rubber Bumper. The installation requires that the primary gear tooth of the actuator should lock into position with the equivalent tooth on the latch system. The top portion of the latch accepts the actuator for mounting before you fasten it with two screws which need to be tightened to 0.75 n.m (6 lb in). The lock installation ends with fitting the door, then adding back the water deflector and the door trim panel.
