First disconnect the electrical connector and Brake Fluid Level Sensor from the brake pipes then cap each fitting before plugging their outlet ports to keep brake fluid inside the system. You first need to remove the two mounting nuts at the master cylinder base and take the component from the vehicle. Afterwards drain the brake fluid from the reservoir. Check brake system functions by bleeding the master cylinder before you fix it onto the vacuum Brake Booster. Secure the master cylinder mounting nuts by tightening them to 33 n.m or 24 lb ft. Attach the brake pipe components to the master cylinder while tightening them to 30 n.m (22 lb ft) and restore the Brake Fluid Level Sensor electrical connection. Complete the brake fluid flow process through the system.
